 My tribute to another jazz diva, "was a singer and American composer, with a vocal range covering three octaves, was remarkable for the purity of his tone, diction, phrasing and intonation clean, as well as a skill of improvisation "similar to a wind instrument ". I couldn't help representing this great lady in jazz history.
